2 Apologies for absence: Angela King and Linda Mathewsman.

3 Minutes of last meeting: Avril Allen was present, otherwise accepted as correct.

4 Matters arising: Roger has Housing development grant agreement, but it as not yet been paid.

5 Neighbourhood Watch: Nil of importance to report. Alison forwards appropriate messages. She would also like to get some of the plastic neighbourhood watch notices.

6 Environment: There is still concern about the heavy traffic in Sopwell Lane.

Chris White is still trying to get some action as well as the 20mph speed limit for Sopwell Lane and Albert Street.

Trees in the London Road car park urgently need attention as they are seriously affecting the flats of the Ryder Seed Mews Estate in Pageant Road.

Action is also needed to the dead tree in Pearces Walk.

7 Christmas Dinner: It was considered that the White Hart Hotel is too expensive at over £30 just for the meal. Roger investigated The Hare and Hounds at £25 each plus free bottle of prosecco for 4 persons. It was agreed to book this for 5th December 7.30 for 8.00pm.

8 Any other business: Concern was expressed concerning the Council property at 41 Hart Road. Alison will forward correspondence from the Council about its usage. It was agreed to have drinks at the Garibaldi on Wednesday 8th January 2014 at 8.00pm. Roger will arrange. Help with distribution of leaflets would be appreciated.
